Why Measure? Hats are like any other clothing item—they’re not one-size-fits-all. Even hats that are the same size can vary between manufacturers. That’s why we use the Perfect Fit Guide, ensuring your new Bar M hat is custom-fitted to the exact shape and size of your head.

 

Why the Head Shape Drawing? - Your head shape is as unique as you are, and so should be your hat. At Bar M, we shape our hats inside and out, offering maximum comfort with minimal break-in time.

 

How It Works - Once you place an order for any cowboy or fashion hat at Bar M, we’ll send this Perfect Fit Guide directly to your door. Simply follow the instructions to measure your head, fill in the details, and then post it back to us. We’ll use these details to custom size and shape your hat, ensuring it fits your head perfectly.

Please note, all custom and sale items and hats purchased with a Perfect Fit Guide Package are not eligible for return. All deposits for custom hats are non-refundable.

 

CUSTOM HATS

We work hard to get you the correct fit! If you receive your hat and it’s not quite right please call us and we’ll do our best to help. Most times a tweak here or there is all that needs to be done and we can help you do that at home.

 

If it’s determined you require a refund of the purchase price, we will issue a return authorization number and refund promptly upon receiving the merchandise in the same condition in which it was shipped. Shipping fees are not refundable, unless there was an error on our end.

 

OUR ERROR: If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we’ll issue a return label at our cost and pay the return shipping costs plus any shipping fees related to the replacement of the item in question.

 

YOUR ERROR: If the return is a result of your error (incorrect head measurement, didn’t like, etc.) you will not be eligible for any return or refund.

 

DAMAGED IN SHIPPING: If your item is damaged in shipping, you must file a claim with the carrier. We will be glad to help you with any documentation needed for the claim.
