THE DESIGNER + MAKER
I'm Millie! A girl who grew up on a high country station at the bottom of New Zealand. I traveled and spent several years cowboying on large Cattle Ranches in British Columbia, Canada. This is where I developed my love for horses and the Western Art of creating handmade custom cowboy gear. After running Bar M for 4 years, it was time to grow the business to include something that is very close to my heart and I believe tells a story about each individual - creating custom hats.
I am an adventuring horsewoman at heart, who lives by strong cowgirl morals and values. In my spare time I enjoy competing in breakaway and team roping. I am a sucker for punishment and often have many things on the go - and live by the saying 'if you want something done, ask a busy person'!
